2. How long does a POWER WORKOUT session last?
Each POWER WORKOUT session lasts about 50 minutes. The session begins with a short warm-up to prepare your muscles for the intensive strength training.
At the end of the small group session, we perform a cool-down to relax your muscles and help your body recover.
This helps prevent injuries and ensures you're ready for your next workout sooner. The session is designed to provide an effective and intensive workout in a relatively short amount of time.
3. Can I participate in the POWER WORKOUT if I have no experience with strength training?
Yes, the POWER WORKOUT is suitable for everyone, regardless of your training background or experience with strength training. Our workouts are designed so that anyone can join at their own level.
Our trainers adjust the exercises to your personal level. This means that beginners don't have to worry about keeping up with the group, and more advanced participants are challenged to build even more strength. Whether you're just starting or have years of experience, you'll receive the right guidance and support.
4. How often should I participate in the POWER WORKOUT for optimal results?
For the best results, we recommend participating in the POWER WORKOUT at least twice a week. Consistency is key when it comes to strength training.
Regular participation helps not only to build strength but also to improve endurance and muscle mass. The body needs time to build muscles and adapt to the new load, so by training regularly, you ensure your strength increases steadily.
5. Can I participate if I’ve had an injury?
Yes, in many cases, you can still join the POWER WORKOUT if you’ve had an injury, but it’s important to first discuss this with one of our trainers. Depending on the type and severity of the injury, we can modify the training to help you recover without causing further harm.
For example, we can use lighter weights, focus on different muscle groups, or avoid certain exercises until you're fully recovered. Safety is our top priority, so always take the time to discuss your injury with our team before starting the training.
6. What kind of exercises are done during a POWER WORKOUT?
During the POWER WORKOUT, you will perform a combination of traditional strength training exercises with free weights, such as dumbbells and barbells, and functional exercises aimed at improving overall strength and endurance.
Think of exercises such as squats, deadlifts, presses, and lunges. All of these exercises are designed to target multiple muscle groups at the same time and build your overall strength. By using free weights, you not only improve your muscle strength but also your balance and stability.
The exercises are tailored to your level, so you can always adjust the weight or number of repetitions to make it challenging but manageable.
7. How quickly will I see results from the POWER WORKOUT?
How quickly you see results depends on various factors, such as how often you train, your diet, and your starting level. In general, with regular participation in the POWER WORKOUT, you can expect improvement in strength and muscle definition within 4 to 6 weeks.
Some participants notice more strength within a few weeks, while others may take a little longer to see visible changes. The key is to stay consistent with your training and challenge yourself to reach your goals
8. Can I combine strength training with other types of training?
Absolutely! Strength training is an excellent complement to other types of training, such as cardio or group classes. Building muscle strength improves your performance in other sports and activities because it enhances your overall fitness.
In addition, strength training helps support your joints and prevent injuries, allowing you to perform better in other types of training. Whether you're running, cycling, practicing yoga, or attending group classes, strength training can make your body stronger and more resilient.
9. What if I find the training too hard?
Don’t worry! Our trainers are here to ensure you're training at a safe and effective level. If you find a particular exercise too challenging, you can lower the weight, adjust the number of repetitions, or even perform a lighter variation of the exercise.
We believe everyone should train at their own pace and offer flexibility in the exercises of your fitness routine. You can always take breaks or modify an exercise, so you don't overload yourself. The trainers will help you push your boundaries under personal guidance, but never in an unsafe way.
