YANG TO YIN YOGA
Looking for the perfect balance between effort and relaxation?
Our Yang to Yin Yoga class combines the best of both worlds.
The first part of the class — the Yang — focuses on active poses that improve your strength, balance, and flexibility. Your body is awakened, warmed up, and strengthened through dynamic movements.
In the second part — the Yin — you slow down and dive deeper into relaxation. You hold poses longer, allowing your connective tissue and joints to open up and release tension.
The result? You leave the class feeling both strong and relaxed, physically and mentally.
VINYASA YOGA
Ready for a class that really gets you moving?
Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic form of yoga that builds strength and flexibility while keeping you focused on your breath. You move at a steady pace from pose to pose, strengthening your body and calming your mind.
Our Vinyasa classes are challenging but accessible to all levels. Whether you're working on your endurance, balance, or simply need to clear your head, Vinyasa Yoga will energize you and help you stay present in the moment.

VEELGESTELDE VRAGEN
1. Is yoga suitable for beginners?
Yes, absolutely! Our yoga classes are accessible to everyone, regardless of experience. The classes are tailored so you can move at your own pace.
Whether you're a beginner or have experience, our yoga instructor ensures you feel welcome and can start your yoga journey in a safe way.
2. What should I bring to my first class?
The only thing you need is comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. We have yoga mats and other equipment, but if you prefer to bring your own mat, you’re welcome to do so. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
3. What is the difference between Yin Yoga and other yoga styles?
Yin Yoga is a calming, slower form of yoga where poses are held for extended periods (between 2 and 5 minutes).
In contrast to dynamic yoga styles like hot yoga, hatha yoga, yoga vidya, power yoga, integral yoga, or Vinyasa flow, Yin focuses on stretching the connective tissue and promoting deep relaxation. It is ideal for those seeking stress relief, inner balance, and increased flexibility.
4. Can I practice yoga if I have injuries?
Yes, yoga can even help with injury recovery. We recommend discussing this with the instructor beforehand so they can adjust the poses to meet your needs.
For example, Yin Yoga is ideal for gently stretching and relaxing muscles and connective tissue without overloading them.
5. What are the benefits of Yin Yoga?
Yoga offers numerous benefits for both body and mind, regardless of your experience or physical condition. Some of the key benefits include:
Improved flexibility: By regularly performing yoga poses, you stretch your muscles and connective tissue safely, leading to greater flexibility and suppleness throughout the body. This can help reduce stiffness and increase range of motion.
Strengthening muscles and joints: Yoga helps build strength, especially in the core, legs, and arms, without the heavy strain of traditional strength training. This not only strengthens muscles but also provides better support for your joints and promotes a healthy body.
Stress reduction: The combination of breathing techniques and poses helps calm the nervous system and mind, reducing stress hormones in the body.
Improved breathing: Many forms of yoga integrate conscious breathing (pranayama), which helps improve lung capacity and raises awareness of your breathing patterns.
Mental clarity and focus: Yoga encourages mindfulness, helping to reduce mental distractions and promote concentration and focus.
Balance and coordination: Many yoga poses focus on balance and stability, which not only improves posture but also enhances coordination and body awareness.
Emotional resilience: Through the focus on breathing and meditation, you learn to better manage emotions and handle stressful situations.
6. What is the difference between yoga and Pilates?
Yoga and Pilates are both effective forms of exercise that strengthen the body and mind, but they differ in their approach and focus.
Yoga focuses on flexibility, relaxation, and balancing the body and mind, often incorporating breathing techniques and meditation. It involves both static and dynamic poses and often has a spiritual or mindfulness component.
Pilates, on the other hand, emphasizes strengthening the core, improving posture, and developing muscle strength through controlled, precise movements. While yoga is more focused on relaxation and flexibility, Pilates is all about strength, stability, and body awareness.
